Couldn’t disagree more I had two cats one that loved ripping stuff up and one that wouldn’t it’s not the owners it’s the pet. My cat scratches everything. has ruined my sofas and furniture and yes I've tried everything from sprays catnip scratch posts etc HES SPOILT.its, not me it's him but I wouldn't do this to him. Plant these save the bees crew sweatshirt. I get where you’re coming from, but when your cats don’t respond to any forms of sprays or every single deterrent, it becomes really hard. I have had both my cats from very young ages and have trained many animals, so I know what I’m doing, and mine has every luxury they could ask for, to not scratch things they shouldn’t, and yet they still do. I would never declaw them, but don’t judge each individuals situation, when you don’t know the situation itself.
