It’s easier than you think. Not every dog fits in your household. It is fine temporarily. I have fostered 47 dogs and have only kept 3. Not to mention that you dont feel that intimate connection with every dog you foster either. I fostered an English cocker spaniel- I have an American Cocker. When his new family met me in the parking lot — best people ever — I cried in my car for 15 mins after they left. He is a very happy dog, I helped him get a wonderful life. My cocker is a rescue and I have fostered a Scottish Terrier as well a long time ago when I had Scotties. Sad to see them go but happy to see the life they will have. Cowboys Texas Missing Mavs, Rangers, Stars shirt. Thank goodness there are people that can foster. I’ve fostered kittens & yes it is so hard to them go. I had 7 of my own cats at one time because of ‘foster failure’ as we jokingly call it
