I live this video. Very sweet. But it makes me sick to read comments like “ humans don’t deserve this planet” “ animals are better than people etc”. We give this mindset to our future generations. They have no respect for human life. Kids are not taught empathy towards other person’s. They aren’t taught “humans before animals”. It’s no wonder the news is so full of ugly stories of human on human violence. Whales ( and cats, dogs etc) are great BUT people are great too! Cycling race samurai shirt. I read the reason for this behavior is that they don’t want a lot of sharks. Because then their own calves would be in danger. So even when they don’t have calves, they are protecting potential food for the sharks. I suspect English is not her first language, and the grammatical mistakes are due to that. But the original thought is my guess as well- the whales may think of her as a mutated seal, but she’s a familiar “mutated seal” that’s nice to them. So, when the whale saw the shark, it acted to protect the “nice mutated seal.”
