To be honest, cats are only moderately domesticated. By and large, they don’t need you. That being said, if you find one that does, you have made a friend for life. My cat Bailey was like that. He knew the exact moment that I got home from work. He would wait by the door. If I wasn’t home in about thirty minutes or so, he would wake up my partner and not give up until he had called me.
