I was going to say, cat dads aren’t usually that nurturing. So sweet that the two moms are cuddled up like that though! I did actually once have a male cat who helped look after the kittens of his ‘lover’, although he wasn’t the dad. He would curl up with them in their basket and they ‘nursed’ on him as if he was their mum. Mon Perroquet M’appelle Shirt. I’ve experienced a male daddy cat taking great care of his wife and little kittens. It was the sweetest stray family I’ve had the pleasure taking care off. On the farm, our male cats were just a nurturing as the mothers. Often the female cats would move all of their kittens into the same nest together. I guess it helped in kitten sitting when the various moms were out hunting and the Dad’s helped out as well. Humans could learn from animals how to care for their kids.
